Description: The Vineland Socio-Emotional Early Childhood Scales (VINELAND-SEEC) is an individually administered assessment of usual social and emotional functioning for children from birth through 5 years and eleven months. The three scales – Interpersonal Relationships, Play and Leisure Time, and Coping Skills – as well as the Social-Emotional Composite identify strengths and weaknesses in specific areas of social-emotional behaviour. These results can be used to plan a program and select activities best suited to a child’s needs. Or, you can use the scales to monitor progress and evaluate a child’s success after completing a program.
