The Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales – Interview Edition (Expanded Form) is a revision of the Vineland Social Maturity Scale and is used to assess personal and social sufficiency of people from birth to adulthood. The scales are applicable to both handicapped and non-handicapped individuals. This form offers a more comprehensive assessment of adaptive behavior than the interview edition, survey form and includes 297 items from the survey form. It is administered in a semi -structured interview with a parent or caregiver of an individual from birth through 18 years of age or of a low functioning adult. A maladaptive behavior domain is included in this form as an optional section. |
