Description: | The Mayer-Salovey-Caruso emotional Intelligence Test- Youth Research Version (MSCEIT-YRV) is designed to assess emotional intelligence among pre-adolescents and adolescents (ages 10-18 years). The MSCEIT-YRV measures the capacity to reason using feelings, and the capacity to enhance thought with feelings. The MSCEIT-YRV is an ability based scale that measures how well people perform tasks and solve emotional problems, rather than a self-report of one’s emotional skills. The MSCEIT-YRV was originally designed to be a research tool. For this reason, the MSCEIT-YRV is not a diagnostic tool. MHS recommend it be used as part of a larger evaluation process together with other assessment methods and collateral information. The MSCEIT-YRV is ONLY available for online administration and scoring through MHS Scoring Service. N.B. Users have to obtain, purchase and set-up an online accounts with MHS themselves. These are not available via the PRC. |
