The Leither International Performance Scale – Third Edition (Leiter-3) is an individually administered test designed to assess cognitive functions in children, adolescents, and adults ages 3 years 0 months to 75+ years. The test includes measures of nonverbal intelligence in fluid reasoning and visualization, as well as appraisals of nonverbal memory, attention, and cognitive interference. The Leiter-3 is suitable for assessing those who could not be reliably and validly assessed with traditional intelligence tests. The Leiter-3 includes a cognitive battery with five subtests; a Attention/Memory Batter with five subtests; and a Social-Emotional Examiner Rating Scale component that gathers information about the individual’s attention, organizational skills, impulse control, activity lebel, anxiety, energy and feelings, mood regulation, sociability and sensory reactivity. |
