|Description:||The Brief Battery for Health Improvement 2 (BBHI 2) is a psychological test designed to be used with medical patients. The BBHI 2 test was developed to serve as a tool for assessing medical patients who may be experiencing problems with pain, functioning, somatization, depression, anxiety, or other factors relevant to rehabilitation and recovery. The BBHI 2 test is a 63-item, self-report, multiple-choice instrument designed to identify factors that may interfere with a patient’s normal course of recovery from a physical injury. The purpose of the test is to quickly provide relevant information and treatment recommendations to professionals who treat injured patients in a variety of settings, including physical rehabilitation, vocational rehabilitation, and general medicine. This information allows the caregiver to obtain a quick and informative portrait of the patient’s symptoms and the psychosocial context in which they occur.
