Description: | The ADHD Rating Scale-5 for children and adolescents: Checklists, norms, and clinical interpretion, Home & School versions are based on the diagnostic criteria for ADHD as described in the DSM-5. Development and standardization of these scales, collection of normative data, factor structure, psychometric properties as well as interpretive uses of these scales in clinical and school settings. DSM-5 provides diagnostic criteria organized into two dimensions of inattention and hyperactivity-impulsivity, each of which consists of nine symptoms. Separate forms for children (5 – 10 years) and adolescents (11-17 years) are provided. The easy-to-administer instrument can be used by mental health, educational, and medical practitioners in screening, diagnosis, and treatment evaluation. Parent questionnaires on home behaviours and teacher questionnaires on classroom behaviours with instructions for scoring and interpretation and separate scoring profiles for symptoms and impairments in boys and girls are provided.
