Hand Dynamometer / Grip Strength (Lafayette - Model 78010)

The Hand Dynamometer (Lafayette - Model 78010) is used to secure an index of general body strength, also to measure right hand vs. left hand strength for comparative purposes. When combined with other forms of strength measurement it allows a much more precise measurement of body strength. The Model 78010 is an updated version of the Smedley Dynamometer. The Model 78010 measures from 0-100 kilograms.

Grip Strength - the Hand Dynamometer can be used to measure the motor strength of  upper extemities. Further instructions can be found in :
